A Little Bit of Country is a diner/restaurant in East Rochester opened July 3, 2007 by sisters, Deneice Howard and Peggy Favata 2.
A Cheap Eats review by Karen Miltner (Democrat and Chronicle, 8/2/07) describes A Little Bit of Country as "a tiny takeout shop that gushes Southern comfort foods." The menu rotates (you can call to find out about the current available entrees and sides), and the reviewer chose chicken-fried steak, raving about how eating the food was like "sending my taste buds time traveling backward to childhood summers of my Georgia grandmother's cholesterol-laden creations of edible bliss."
Lunch and dinner specials are under $10 and sandwiches are a bit cheaper.
