The Rochester International Air Show is a (nearly) annual event in Rochester. It includes displays of military and civilian aircraft. Typically the highlight is a performance by either the US Navy Blue Angels or the US Air Force Thunderbirds.

2005-06-06 22:27:22   Advice ... bring lots of water and sun block if you go. There's lots of waiting on the hot pavement (runways) while you wait for your shuttle ride back to your car. And there's hardly no shade to speak of. —JasonWilder


2005-06-07 09:05:54   I am not sure if you are allowed to bring water. The FAQ says: "Coolers are not allowed on airshow grounds for security reasons. You cannot bring food, alcohol, or other beverages to the airshow. Food and beverages will be available for purchase at the airshow." Lame. —TobinFricke


2005-06-07 10:32:01   I really do not think they would not allow you to bring in a couple bottles of water. Three years ago, they ran out and had to bring the fire department in as people were dropping like flies from the heat and lack of water. —JasonWilder
