Rochester has a rapidly growing anime scene, with demand led by the students of RIT.

• Hammergirl Anime - Anime store on Jefferson Road in Henrietta.
  

• Video Barn - A video store in Henrietta with a large Anime selection.

• RIT Anime Club - The largest anime club of its kind, located at RIT.
  

• UR Anime Club - A new club founded in 2007, located at UR.
  

• Rochecon - Scheduled major convention for this coming year, focusing heavily on cosplay.
  

• Tora-con - Active convention at RIT.
