The Arts & Cultural Council for Greater Rochester is a nonprofit organization described as ...
the local arts agency for the Rochester, New York metropolitan region. It is our mission to develop, promote and strengthen the cultural industry for the benefit of the people of the Rochester region. The Arts Council directly serves the cultural community—- artists and cultural organizations— as well as the community at large. 1
Their offices also hosts a 2,000 square foot gallery with new rotating shows - see Exhibits Info.
The Arts Council website hosts an arts calendar and a free discount Access Card with occasional specials on admission to events. They also publish the quarterly Metropolitan magazine.
