2007-11-30 20:30:19   Does anyone have experience with these folks? I saw an ad for them on Craigslist but I still haven't found an address. They claim to be operating in Rochester since 1993 so someone should have crossed paths with them ... —JasonOlshefsky

2007-12-08 00:18:53   We have been using these guys since 1992, without them our desktop publishing company would be in serious trouble. Thanks again guys Millard Schisler Terra Verde Translations —Millard Schisler

2008-07-23 15:23:18   Still no address for them on their website. I even checked with Computer Link Magazine [WWW]http://www.techny.com and they have no address listed for them either. Home based business? —TimFavreau

2008-09-15 12:03:12   Hi guys! My name is Vinny, I'm a tech for AwareBear. You will not find us listed under an address currently as we do not have a store front. Our service is all done on-site, or systems are picked up and returned to home office repair facilities. Each technician has his own workshop in his home where we do all of our work. Sorry for any confusion! You may see an AwareBear store front pop up sometime in 2009, as we are currently looking.

As for our experience, the company owner has been in the computer repair business for roughly 15 years and previously worked under other companies such as AA Computers, which has since been dissolved. —VincentP

2009-04-10 21:13:58   Please stay away from these guys, they are nothing but a scam. I'm writing this so people don't have to go through what I did with these guys. Long story short, I lost EVERYTHING on my computer due to stolen software installed by this "company" So please, stay away! —frank

2009-08-15 20:34:28   Just thought I'd check back in since they ruined my computer. I did a google search for them, and came up with 6 different address!! If that isn't proof enough that they are a scam I don't know what is. I also came across this page dedicated to awarebear [WWW][WWW]http://www.andreleitealves.net/awarebear/2009/05/another-dissatisfied-customer-of-aware-bear-computers/ This site shows all the scams they do, including copyright stealing. People like this should have their business taken away, they are criminals. —Frank
