2005-11-22 05:28:40 genny cream isn't bad, not amazing but better than a lot of cheaper beers. I'm just a bit concerned whenever I drink it that I'm drinking from the Genesee River...where do they get their water anyway? —RossHattori
2005-11-22 06:21:20 Genesee uses city water, and they used to get it all from Hemlock Lake (there were ads proclaiming that back in the days). Nowadays, it's either Lake Ontario or Hemlock Lake, depending on the demand (the northern part of the city usually gets Lake Ontario water, the southern part usually Hemlock Lake). —GeorgeHaberberger
2005-11-22 19:38:05 It's the same water they contract brew Sam Adams with. There aren't enough minerals to make the water particularly distinctive, which is perfect when you're brewing a variety of beers. —TomMaszerowski
2005-11-23 08:09:20 My grandpa loved Genny Cream Ale. I don't mind it at all... one is nice once in awhile. —MariahBetz
2005-11-23 08:09:47 I saw Sam Adams on an "American Microbrews" poster last night. —MariahBetz
2009-01-23 12:31:41 Added Tap and Mallet to the "bars with extensive draught selection" list (they have 30 lines). —JonPetruccelli
