BizWonk is located in the Casacade District of the city of Rochester. They have been in business since 2000. The company was started by a husband and wife team, Lance and Suzanne Topping. The name BizWonk is derived from the word "business", which is self-explanatory, and the word "wonk" which has many definitions. Wonk can mean "someone who studies hard", or possibly "one who is knowledgeable is a certain subject area". It is also the word "know" spelled backwards.
