2007-11-16 11:04:04   The Blue Marlin Seafood Grille is easily the best seafood restaurant in Rochester. The food really has to be tried to be believed. The chef specializes in unusual and complex entrees, taking standard favorites and doing some really unexpected and wonderful things with them. The sauces and side dishes and the presentation…everything is wonderful. If you’re in the mood for a more traditional seafood dish, you won’t be disappointed there, either. My fiancée had Alaskan king crab legs last night, and they were truly huge, succulent and meaty. Prices are quite reasonable (most entrees are under twenty dollars). Their wine list is very limited (although they do have a nice beer selection), but you can bring your own wine and save a bundle as Blue Marlin does not charge a corking fee. —KurtSample

2008-06-05 22:11:08   We live near The Blue Marlin and have been to dinner several times there. As the review indicated, the food was always good, and not your average mix of flavors or presentation. That said, I think the chef has recently changed, and so has their menu. A little less exotic now. We haven't had a chance to try it yet, but it looked interesting. —TimMortenson
