The Rainbow Theater Festival is produced annually by Bread & Water Theatre. It features productions centered on queer life and inspired by the original Rainbow Pride Flag. Initially produced as a joint venture of NazLambda and Nazareth Theatre League, two student-run organizations at Nazareth College of Rochester, the event lay dormant after the graduation of many of the initial participants in the program until it was revived in 2004 by Bread & Water Theatre with the continued support of some of the original participants.
