Brooks Yard (Brooks Avenue Yard) is a freight train switching yard near the airport. It is currently owned by the Rochester and Southern Railroad, which took it over from the CSX (formerly Chessie System, previously Baltimore and Ohio RR), and was originally built by the [Buffalo, Rochester & Pittsburgh Railway]. The wooden yard office is the original BR&P structure, and has been in continuous use since it was built in 1913.
