Cafe SQLS is run by Anthony Simmons, a longtime 19th Ward resident who founded Simmons Quality of Life Services, a nonprofit agency whose mission is to provide job training as well as food, shelter and clothing for young adults ages 16-26. Proceeds from the café support SQLS programs.
