Capture Rochester

Capture Rochester is a website created by the Democrat & Chronicle newspaper, where Rochesterians can submit their photos to be included in a coffee table book. The book will cost anywhere from $24.95 to $39.95, depending on when you buy it. There will also be a DVD that includes photos from everyone who contributes.

People can submit photos and vote on others' photos through the end of August 2008. After that, they put the data through a "complicated algorithm" to narrow the list of finalists, then their editors choose from that list.
