Dried out calamari, some type of fried bread with a bruschetta topping (bread was greasy, brushcetta was OK) and mozzarella sticks which I didn't taste but kids devoured. Kids had chicken fingers, pizza. Seemed OK. Nice thin crust pizza. Had to ask for dough for the kids (part of the schtick, kids make dough shapes that get baked). Two of the dough models that the kids make didn't come back due to getting 'burned' in the oven. Try explaining that to a five year old!!! I had the Chicken Bryan (based on a review here). Wasn't so bad, the chicken was moist and cooked well. Unfortunately the goat cheese was of the type from a plastic container and along with the heavily salted food the salty fake goat cheese almost made the meal inedible. Wife had the salad with scallops and shrimp. Seafood cooked quite well but she forgot to ask for dressing on the side and her salad was soaked (our fault I guess) and the meal was covered in garlic salt and again, rendered the salad inedible. ~75 dollars plus tip. I don't want to be down on chains, it is easy sport, but if you must dish out restaurant gift cards then please next time benucci's or Biaggi's for Italian chains...... (benucci's is a local chain, part of the brio restaurants. and much better quality) --["Users/sieats"]

Yes, the food was still excellent and the fresh bread and olive oil and spice dipping sauce are heavenly - but the service was horrible. We arrived at exactly opening time (3pm on a Sunday) and it took the two sulky hostesses a lengthy time to acknowledge our presence and then figure out the seating chart (we got a complementary eye-rolling with seating). Our waiter performed his duties of drink bringing drinks, food, and the check well but his attitude and personality were dismal. I would say give Carrabbas some more time to develop their employees, but they had already been open over a month when we visited. --["EllenKelsey"]
