My wife had the chicken mole, and found the chicken to be fatty and the sauce to be "eh." Oh well, at least the chips and salsa were free -- and the salsa was GOOD. Service was very good. Monday night -- I think we were waited on by the husband and wife who own the place. I'll try it one more time before making up my mind for good. Knock 10-15% off the cost and I'd be happy. He is in some hot water with the INS. But part of the problem is the rental space - the rent is a whopping $6K a month, the plumbing system needs 30K in repairs and it's the tenant's responsibility. Before the meal, the chips and salsa were good... it was nice that they brought out both mild and hot salsas - most places only have one mild (for my taste) salsa. The burrito was great, no complaints. The enchilada was also good, but I would have preferred a red enchilada sauce instead of the heavier brown sauce (brown like gravy, not like molé) it came with. I don't know if the chile relleno itself was good or not because it was covered in their red sauce, which overwhelmed it. It isn't a red sauce like an enchilada sauce, it's a tomato-based sauce that tasted more Italian than Mexican, except for the fact that it had a bit of a kick to it. When I come back I'll have to try the relleno again, without that sauce. --["McgMatt"]
