2011-11-21 15:21:36   This is a review I originally posted on Yelp:

For what it is, it's a pretty good shop. Basically, it's a sub/lunch shop, AND a deli, as well as being an importer of Italian/Greek foods, kitchenware, soaps, etc. But, mostly, it's a lunch stop.

Located in a non-descript building on one of the grittier portions of Lee Rd. (right near Metallico scrap metal transfer and the City of Rochester garbage recieving buildings), they preidictably get a lot of working people (scrap and garbage trucks often stop on the street to pick up pre-ordered sandwiches), but the food, thankfully, is pretty good.

They not only serve the predictable plain subs (not the greatest, but the price is good), but also serve a few 'premium' subs made with better, imported meats and cheeses. They also have a soup/pasta section, which includes even tripe! They also have a dining room, which really isn't great, but if you want to eat in, it's there.

And, while you are waiting for your sandwich/pasta to be made up, take a look at the imported olives, pasta machines, Greek soaps, and bottled Italian sodas for sale. —Alex-C

2013-08-02 13:58:36   Just got back from lunch. Not bad at all. The place was busy and plenty of people were working and taking orders. I had a tuna sub with a cup of crab bisque soup. Instead of crackers, you get bread to soak everything up. They have a great market inside with some pretty neat imports. Definitely worth checking out. —SRB
