Despatch Pizza Kitchen is a take out and delivery pizzeria with the typical modest compliment of tables inside. This is where the old Piazza's used to be on Commercial street. Pizza, subs and Italian dinners.

2008-12-09 10:20:40 I just wrote this page so I could comment on the restaurant. This is really a gem in the middle of East Rochester, my wife and I order from here on a regular basis. They've got a great selection of pizzas (with apologies to you NYC purists) of all kinds of toppings combinations like My Big Fat Greek Pizza and J's Tomato (tomatoes and three cheeses on a garlic base, yum!). They've also got a great selection of subs, hot and cold. The New Orleans sub is my favourite (though the guy kept calling it the New-Orleens, rather than the proper pronunciation, "Nawlins." —DragonFlyEye

2009-09-29 17:55:40 TimRoy, According to Wikipedia, Despatch is the pre-1906 name for East Rochester, so the "e" spelling is correct. —ScottVentura
2010-03-03 10:47:10 Had a slice from here yesterday. Gotta disagree with the PizzaBlog guy here. While the slice was soft and spongy, it tasted pretty good, contrary to what I expected. Will go back. —TippingPoint
