Some dollar stores, like Dollar General and Family Dollar, deviate from this pricing strategy - While most items are were originally priced in even dollar amounts, now in Family Dollar, many items are priced by 25 cent steps, plus they accept manufacturer's coupons, have their own in-store product coupons, and have special sales, like any general merchandise store.
