Gave 60 days notice that I was not renewing as specified in the lease, then spent the next month playing phone tag with the woman in the office about trying to "upgrade" me to another one of their apartments. I ended up going with a different management company, and when they called for a reference the people from Executive Manor claimed I had never given them notice and they didn't know I was leaving at all (so why were they showing me the other apartments for?) Created a lot of confusion with my new landlords and were very nasty on the phone both to me and the other management company. It seems like they have problems keeping tenants long term, building is mostly filled with college kids and apartments seem to stay vacant for a while. However, trying to strongarm good tenants into staying and giving bad references is not the way to do it. Stay away. --["Users/MattOnan"]
