2008-12-10 10:29:49   I've gone here with my kids a few times, on Sunday afternoons. The hotdogs are nice and juicy. I'm not a big fan of their hot sauce - it seems a little on the bland side - but it's OK. For a cheap meal, you can do pretty well here. —RichMulvey

2009-02-20 13:15:56   I love this place. I'm from the Albany, NY area and the one main thing I miss about the Rochester area is Fairport Hots. The food and service here is always great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. (I once called three times in the span of an hour because I had forgotten the directions and they were helpful every time.) It's a great deal for what you get. All of the food is great, but I would recommend the garbage plate. Once, on my way out towards Alfred, NY (think a straight shot south of Rochester, just above the Pennsylvania border), I took I-90 instead of the much more direct I-88 for the sole purpose of getting a plate on my way down ... and then I couldn't wait so I stopped a few miles down the road at a parking lot and devoured half of the thing right there rather than waiting until I reached my destination! (For reference, I searched MapQuest and my original trip was clocked at 270 miles in 4 1/2 hours. My re-routing through Rochester added 45 minutes to my trip, but it was worth it!) —JeffKlein
