2007-02-07 16:22:42   Lunch specials are as little more expensive than your neighborhood chinese dive at $5.50-$6.00, but are a cut above and worth the extra bank. I've been on a tofu kick lately and their homemade tofu is good, as is the jalapeno tofu. Irritating takeout note: the lunch specials are served in those annoying little "traditional"cardboard containers with the metal handle, instead of the convenient plastic containers most places use. I enjoy the convenience of a single container when I'm trying to eat my office lunch. Make sure you ask for a styrofoam plate if you need one. —EastSideStephen
