2006-01-06 00:53:07 Wines are in the center and on the left as you enter the store. Several dozen wines are featured at any given time at the front, with cheaper ones being to the right near the register. A wide selection from New York State wineries are prominently placed in front of almost all others (except jug and box wine, oddly enough). A bargain bin of ~$4 bottles is in the dead center of the store. The liquor selection isn't quite as expansive as Marketview Liquor, but there are usually good deals to be had on 1.75 liter handles.
The proprietor is a bald fellow who is always ready to provide help and recommendations, no matter what requests you have. The business card says Joseph Iuppa is the Wine Specialist.
As you enter the store, you'll note a several large signs advertising a 20% discount on cases (12+) of wine and/or liquor (mix and match).—NeilBardhan

2008-09-10 15:51:21 I love the owner of this store. He has helped me find a few wine selections that have become my favorites. He is one of the reasons why I have continued to come here for years. They have a good selection, and the bargain bin is also where I've found a few of my favorites. Never bought vinegar from them. This is located very conveniently next to the Henrietta Wegmans. —CatMagro
2008-09-11 02:00:04 Discount Liquor is awesome! A good selection of wines and spirits for a smaller shop (compared to Marketview). Joseph, or as I call him: "Discount Liquor Guy", has been a great help over the past few years as I've learned about wine. I got a bad bottle of wine once, but it wasn't the store's fault (bad cork) — the staff exchanged it out for me no questions asked. —NathanHenderson
