I'm not a Rochester native and had to pick people randomly out of the phone book. Just wondering why this topic has not been picked up on... perhaps I'll have to start one. Maybe most rocwiki-ites don't own their places of abode yet? —JasonHaremza

2008-12-18 14:44:35   That's a valid point, Jason. To date, that has been a weak point of the wiki and you are more than welcome to help develop this area. While quite a few of our contributors and readers are renters (and residents of college dorms), we still have a number of home owners.

In general though, our format lends itself to feedback on specific contractors rather than an ongoing direct comparison of contractors. —DaveMahon

2009-01-08 12:59:21   I'd strongly recommend against John Cartwright. He has yet (more than 6 months later) to finish the work he agreed to. —LukeStodola
