Huther-Doyle (H-D) is a nonprofit founded by the late Rochester businessman George Huther, Jr, himself a recovering alcoholic. H-D specializes in addiction prevention, treatment, and recovery.
See their website for an extensive description of their 32 year history, accomplishments, and dedication to the City of Rochester and the region. They now serve more than 1,000 people each year.
H-D provides evaluation and referral, intensive outpatient therapy, education and prevention, aftercare, bilingual/bicultural treatment, HIV specific treatment, family therapy, MICA treatment, and co-dependency treatment. They also have a young offender re-entry program for young adults returning to Monroe County from the correctional system.
H-D also provides an online program for youth under 18 (and their parents) with their Psquared program -
