There is a vast amount of rich talent performing The art of improvisation—in it's various forms—is very much alive in Rochester, NY! While most people associate improv with comedy and/or improvisational theater, Rochester also has improvisational dance and music. |

Polite Company since 2012. Performs out of MuCCC Theater once a month.

Broken Couch since 2009. Performing all over the City.

Geva Comedy Improv (GCI) since Sept 2003. Performs mostly at the NextStage at Geva Theatre Center.

THEY improv since 2007. THEY Improv is not a local troupe per se, but rather an out-of-state organization that hires local improvisors—who are already part of another troupe—for private and corporate events.
