It was noon on a Saturday and totally packed--don't come here in a hurry. The menu is enormous, with an impressive range of creative dishes. I got the Eggs Esther Benedict--with eggplant and fried greed tomatoes--and it was amazing. The homefries were kind of bland and dense, but everything else was good. For diner food, it's not greasy at all. I have gone to very few restaurants in Rochester that had such a lively atmosphere and such unique food. In the 7 years I’ve been going I don't think I've ever had a bad meal there. The staff is very friendly and James makes a point to get to know his customers. It’s got the old-school grill set up right behind the counter just like all the diners in town used to. You can actually watch your food being cooked (if you’re so inclined). My favorite has got to be the Breakfast Quesadilla. In the summer they’ve got tables outside which doubles the seating but can slow down the service a little.
