Jine's Restaurant is one of the better diners in Rochester, and is a well loved fixture on Park Ave. The prices are reasonable (see the menu on their website). You can sit outside on the sidewalk in the summer. Good place for brunch.

They also offer catering.

Located at the intersection of Park Avenue and Berkeley Street.

Jine's was voted 'Best Place for Breakfast' in City Newspaper's 'Best Of Rochester' awards in 2008.¹

2008-01-09 21:01:36   According to a waitress, the closure is supposed to be for about two weeks in early February. They're knocking out part of the wall in the back left corner (as you're facing into the restaurant) to connect to the new space, which will include a waiting area as well as a few more tables. I think she also said that they're remodeling the rest of the place. —RachelBlumenthal

2008-02-26 19:55:13   Alright, Jine's is a wonderful diner right around the corner from my house. That being said, there are a couple different places on Park Ave. that i would probably prefer over a trip to Jine's. Tonight a group of us (4) went to Jine's to check out the new remodel and get some comfort food. I have no problems with their menu, but tonight was easily the worst service I have ever experienced there. Let's hope that it was because of lack of additional wait staff of the very recent remodel and not a new trend... —TrippinOnTheFuture

2008-04-20 13:07:38   Went there Saturday morning. The wait was not too bad-5 minutes. It was my first time there since they remodeled. I like the differences and it seemed to have reduced the wait time. The owner dude was there and as friendly and efficient as usual. I need to stick to Jine's and quit trying other places that disappoint me. —BadFish

2008-07-28 14:03:53   Very busy. The menu is extensive. So is the line for breakfast on Saturday and Sunday.

I've eaten very simply at Jine's (corned beef sandwich, lox & cream cheese on a bagel), but you can go very upscale.

There is a lot of outdoor seating - great for breakfast or lunch. Your call on whether it's worth the wait. —ZachSmalt
