Lickety Splits was an ice cream parlor located in the Box Factory Building along the Erie Canal. Serving ice cream and "udder" great stuff.
Their landlord decided not to renew their lease in the Box Factory, and they were forced to close October 2012.

2009-05-16 21:22:47 Lovely place with friendly service. Great location - perfect for sitting and watching the boats go by on a spring afternoon. My 18-month old got his own FREE ice-cream cone. We'll be coming here many times. —YanaLevin
2010-06-03 12:50:13 Service has improved here over the years, more friendly servers. Ice cream is really yummy! We get a kick out of the sign that says "BABY CONES ARE FOR BABIES ONLY. NO EXCEPTIONS." I can just see some cheapo or diet-pious adult trying to order one. —LisaRuns
2011-05-11 16:32:42 Brought my two kids there this week. Good ice cream selection. They don't take bank cards but have an ATM right inside. The teenagers behind the counter were friendly. I ended up leaving my wallet with cash and cards on their porch. 24 hours later, when I realized I had left my wallet there, I stopped by to get it with money and cards still inside! What a relief! My kids both wanted the "Super Hero" flavor. It was surprisingly good and not too sweet despite it's neon shades! —TDunham
2012-08-09 13:11:12 Had a nice-sized sundae here with all the toppings for a very reasonable price. Scenic location allows for a good stop while travaling along the canal. —AndrewL
