LongHorn Steakhouse is a chain restaurant with 3 area locations, Marketplace Square on Jefferson Road in Henrietta, Route 96 in Victor, and West Ridge Road in Greece.

The restaurant chain is owned by the [WWW]Darden Company which owns many chains including Red Lobster and Olive Garden. The theme is a western style steakhouse.

While the restaurant's offerings are most similar to Outback Steakhouse and Bugaboo Creek, the restaurant is unique enough to differentiate itself easily from the previously mentioned establishments.

2009-12-30 21:05:04   Wife and I went this evening. I had Prime Rib. Wife had Filet Mignon. We both had Sweet Potatoes. Phenomenal food-better than Bugaboo! Meat cut like butter! Server was Jenna—WE WILL ASK FOR JENNA EVERY TIME! She was attentive but not overly so and very pleasant. Guaranteed we'll be back. 2nd visit 2/12/2010: Again Very pleased-food was 100% just as good!! —PeteB

2011-09-06 11:29:13   We tried the Greece location and left unimpressed. The interior is attractive, but clearly designed by a marketing department and has an unauthentic feel. Our chicken wrap appetizer was greasy and mostly cheese, it tasted like something from the supermarket freezer aisle. Our sirloins were cooked poorly, medium on the top and almost raw on the bottom and inconsistently heated from one end to the other. The flavor was fine for an inexpensive cut, but I wouldn't trust the cook with a more expensive steak. Not a bad choice if you're looking for a family-friendly Applebee's-esque place, but not where I would go for a fine steak. —JasonS

2012-03-10 08:58:26   It's always extremely hard to rate chains, but I've been to the one in Henrietta many times in the past, and I've been extremely pleased whenever I DON'T order steak. They cook their veg, chicken, fish, and appetizers pretty well, but the steak always comes out overdone for me. A little ironic, but they seem to do everything right but the steak! Would go back, but not for beef —AGoldman

2014-05-19 09:26:40   Went for the first time with the family this past weekend. I was expecting a basic chain steak house, and was pleasantly surprised by the food. The interior is definitely cheesy—the obligatory wagon-wheel overhead lights, skulls on the wall, etc. but the service was top-notch. Both my wife and I had steak, and cuts were very good and cooked to perfection—much better than I anticipated. We'll definitely be back. —richmulvey
