Martial Arts America is a Martial Arts facility that has two Rochester locations focusing on Karate. The first is located in the Winton Place Plaza in the western end of the complex (moved in November 2007). The second is in Penfield, on Rt. 250 and Penfield Road.

Sensei Matt Dorsey, 7th degree Black Belt in Isshin Ryu karate, is the owner and master instructor of Martial Arts America. Sensei Dorsey has over 30 years of experience and studied under Sensei Joe Jennings. He took over one of Sensei Jennings' locations in 1980 and has taught thousands of students since then. He has become one of the area's top experts in karate and self defense. He is also the Northeast Regional Director for AAU (Amateur Athletic Union) Karate and sits on its executive council and referee council.

Martial Arts America teaches the Isshin Ryu style of Okinawan karate. Classes are offered for children (as young as 4), teens and adults. Specialty classes in self-defense and other related areas are offered from time to time. There is a Kendo club and Iaido class at the Winton Place location which meet on Thursday and Monday, respectively. A Mixed Martial Arts class is offered at the Winton Place location to advanced students on Thursdays.
