Corn Hill Navigation is a not-for profit company that operates two boats - the Mary Jemison from Corn Hill Landing and the Sam Patch from Schoen Place. Each boat offers daily cruises on either the Erie Canal or the Genesee River. The craft are named after American frontierswoman Mary Jemison and daredevil Sam Patch.
In addition to daily cruises for the public, both boats offer educational programs for school groups as well as weekend dinner cruises. Boats available for privately chartered, special events.
Prices for daily cruises range from $6 for children to $15 for adults, very inexpensive considering cruises last up to ninety minutes. Website prices (July, 2012):
Adults – $13
Seniors 65+ – $10
Students 13-22 (with valid school ID) – $10
Children 3-12 – $6

2009-07-27 17:57:32 Alright, I went on this tour a few days ago (the mary jemison one) and let me tell you, it is NOT for locals, young people, kids or people who do not want to be on a boring boat tour. It takes you through the Genesee River and all you can see are huge trees and the bottom of old bridges. Which means, you don't see much, and the tour guide have little to say. The tour last an hour to an hour and a half. The food is over-priced but may be worth it if you didn't bring anything and/or really thirsty/hungry. If you are a tourist or older person, it might be fun and it isn't too expensive. The boat docks at corn hill, so its a really nice location to be at. —heyhowareyou
