The New York Civil Liberties Union (NYCLU) is the non-profit New York state affiliate of the '''American Civil Liberties Union'''. The NYCLU defends and promotes the fundamental principles and values embodied in the Bill of Rights, the U.S. Constitution, and the New York Constitution.
Their local chapter is the Genesee Valley Chapter of the New York Civil Liberties Union (GVCLU). The GVCLU serves the following counties: Genesee, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Orleans, Steuben, Wayne, Wyoming and Yates. Their offices are in the Downtown United Presbyterian Church.
