North Street is a predominantly residential route in the city's Northeast Quadrant. From its southern terminus to Clifford Avenue it forms the border between the Upper Falls and Marketview Heights neighborhoods. The remainder is in Group 14621. Other major intersections are Portland Avenue, Hudson Avenue, and Central Avenue. The roadway crosses over the Inner Loop, and railroad tracks. North Street turns into Chestnut Street once south of Andrews/University.
