Occupy Rochester is an ongoing protest movement based in Rochester, allied with and part of the international
Occupy movement. By March 2012 they were the last Occupy encampment still active in New York state and possibly the longest operating one at 139 days. Since removal from Washington Square Park the group has been out of the news.

October, 2011 - Occupation of Washing Square Park begins.
November 11, 2011 - Make deal to stay in Washington Square Park until January.
March 29, 2012 - Occupy Rochester losses court case to remain in the park 1
