Outback Steakhouse is an Australian-themed steakhouse chain with 1 location in our area, on West Ridge Road, just west of I-390. A second location, on Jefferson Road, just east of I-390, closed during the coronavirus pandemic of 2020.

2008-05-16 13:27:56   Terrible. Can we get a good chain steakhouse? Mortons, Smith and Wollensky, Longhorn, Capital Grill, Flemings, etc, etc. Just eat at Max Chophouse, Peter Geyer, Tournedos, or Black and Blue. —MrRochester

2011-06-12 22:43:14   Had dinner at the Jefferson Road location tonight for the first time in probably, oh, a dozen years. Wow, was there a sale on pepper? My wife's steak was swimming in it. Same for my son's fries. My teriyaki steak was fine, though. As for service - eh, barely adequate. Our server was apparently a total neophyte. Pleasant, but had no idea what the soup of the day was, had no idea how many sides came with the various entrees, etc. —RichMulvey

2012-03-10 08:59:30   Used to always be tasty, but the one on Jefferson near Sutherland always over-seasons everything whenever I go, very disappointing. The fish isn't bad —AGoldman

2013-05-10 22:34:35   My wife wanted to give the Outback a try. We kind of did on Thursday evening. We were seated promptly, waitress brought us our drinks and then went to the bar to make some drinks. After about 15 minutes I walked over to the bar and asked if she was going to take our orders. The young lady told me that she was busy making drinks and would get to us when she could. Paid for our drinks and walked out. Never to return. —Ricardo
