2006-09-14 06:01:39   Has potential. Dishes are decent - can be better, if given time for flavors to deepen and coalesce. Service is on the casual/spotty side for the mood they're trying to create (patrons keep flagging down servers, who are darting about jitterily). Predetermined by the small space, ambiance varies wildly - cozy/intimate would be lovely, unless you're unlucky to be surrounded by tables attempting to out-decibel one another while criticizing how loud other tables are. 2008-04-01 21:50:36   The menu is a bit pricy for lunch, despite their knocking $2 off the price for a lunch portion. However, the soup is fantastic and make a reasonable meal with the delicious bread. For a special treat, the Haddock French is to die for! —RochesterRed

2009-01-19 18:34:49   My wife and I recently went to this restaurant after being given a gift card. The food was delicious! It was one of the best Italian meals I have had in my 5 years living in Rochester. I got the clams and pasta dish and it came with at least 14 steamed clams on top. The prices were on the high side, but definitely worth it. I would strongly encourage people to try this place. —Tibbi10

2009-08-28 20:33:49   I feel compelled to comment on Panzari's based on an experience my family had again tonight. The food is consistently outstanding and the service friendly. However, there are not enough servers which seriously detracts from the experience. For the love of god, hire more help! We won't be going back anytime soon due to this issue, which is too bad since the food and environment are very fun and enjoyable. —JimBarillo
