Parks abound in the Rochester area and offer year round recreation. Whether you're interested in a casual stroll, hiking, running, picnics, cross country skiing, fishing, sports, photography, site seeing, reading a book under a tree, or just hanging out with friends—there is something here for everyone.

Parks are normally operated by the City of Rochester, a Town or Village, Monroe County, [WWW]State of New York, or the [WWW]National Park Service.

Many of the parks have shelters and facilities available for rental or reservation. Check with the relevant city, town, village, or county website for more information.

Some parks with no RocWiki entries may be found on the Talk Page.
