The Perinton Historical Society is a volunteer, nonprofit organization serving the Perinton community for the preservation of the history of the town and its forerunners. Founded in 1935, and incorporated in 1937, the organization now supports itself through memberships, entry fees and fund-raisers.
The Society operates the Fairport Historical Museum at the above address. They maintain its collection and sponsor historic tours (usually held in April) and educational programs.
