The Fund was started by [WWW]Gary The Happy Pirate, who still performs around town for kids of all ages.

The Fund has a Coin Canister program where they collect money in canisters at local businesses, you can learn more on their [WWW]How Can You Help? page.

Strong National Museum of Play is a permanent collection point for donations. Take along a toy for your child to donate to another less fortunate child when you take them to the museum - teaching kids about giving to others.

The Fund has worked with WHEC TV-10 since the first drive in 1999 and collected more than 14,000 toys in 2008.2
