The Pittsford Trail System (Railroad Loop) is a mixed-use trail in Pittsford that provides access to both Pittsford Village and the Erie Canal. It was developed from an old railroad bed and has a generally rugged surface. Most it runs behind suburban backyards and is heavily wooded.

The Pittsford Trail System is especially useful for the urban cyclist traveling to the popular shopping destination Pittsford Plaza. Go eastward down East Avenue, take a left on Clover Street and follow it all the way to Monroe Avenue. Here you will find the eastern starting point of the trail. It will take you behind the businesses that line Monroe (including Park Avenue Bike Shop) until you reach the Pittsford Plaza intersection and its crosswalk.
