2007-09-19 12:00:13   FYI, they do not buy high end goods, just moderate price clothing, even though they say they are looking for upscale clothing.

I tried to sell them some Diesel, Hugo Boss, and Kenneth Cole clothes and they felt those were too high end!

So they are only looking for what you can get at the mall. Abercrombie, AE, and the Gap. It makes sense, that is probably what appeals to those purchasing used clothing. —MrRochester

2008-06-15 22:53:17   Well, to be fair, it is a store that's targeted at teenagers, most of whom wouldn't know a real high-end brand if it hit them in the face. However, I've still found some cute jackets and good pants for work at Plato's Closet in between the skanky skirts and ripped t-shirts. I just never have anything to sell back because I keep my clothing longer than one season. —AdrienneDahler

2008-06-16 10:57:29   I have been back since my 1st post to sell them Diesel, Mavi, and 7 for all Mankind and they bought the clothes this time. They said the higher end stuff has done better than they thought. And they gave me pretty good money for it too! —MrRochester
