Ponderosa Steakhouse was a buffet-style chain restaurant with a location in Geneva. They used to have a location in Canandaigua, but this has since closed.
The Ponderosa and Bonanza brands are both owned by the same company and may have competing restaurants in the same market, but not within a 100 mile radius of Rochester.

2011-04-12 12:50:18 As a child, I loved this place. It, basically, made eating mass quantities of salad cool to me. So, in that respect, I hold Ponderosa in relatively high regard. I haven't been in about 8 years, though. Last time I went, things had really gone downhill in terms of presentation and quality. —BatGuano
