The Ramada Plaza - Airport (aka Holiday Inn Rochester Airport) was a hotel just across Interstate 390 from the Greater Rochester International Airport on the West side of the city.
It's on-site dining options were Brooks Avenue Grill for their breakfast buffet and the Wheels up Tavern for salads and sandwiches.
An editor also believed the hotel was used as part of sting operation by the FBI to capture some local business men in illegal activity.
In 2017 new owners converted the hotel from the Holiday Inn - Airport to the Ramada franchise.
In March and April 2019, the hotel was in the news for not cleaning the pool, a mice infestation and shootings at the Wheels up Tavern after a large party. Turns out the owner also stopped making bank payments in 2018.
