Remington's is an upscale restaurant located on the northeast side of Rochester. Dinner entrees range from $16 to $29 and their wine list is reasonably priced. Their signature dish would more than likely be their seafood bisque. The atmosphere is classy and laid back at the same time.

2008-11-06 20:45:03   I'll just put in a general review rather than talk about specific visits or dishes. We probably go to Remington's once a year on the average, and have never been disappointed. Outstanding food and service. We'd go more often but it certainly isn't cheap — it's for special occasions. But excellent for those events! —RLShadow

2009-05-20 22:54:37   Went here for Local Restaurant Week. The decor was tasteful and classic, and the clientele was mostly middle-aged and older. I had shrimp scampi, which was good but not terribly interesting. My companions gave similar reviews. There was a popcorn machine, and I got a kick out of bringing a bowl of popcorn back to our table and eating it with a nice glass of scotch.
Our waiter was very friendly, professional, and knew the menu well.
I probably won't be back, but I don't think I'm their target customer. My mother, however, loves this place. —EastSideStephen

2009-11-20 22:35:28   We had not been here in ages and decided to go over with friends. Nothing inside has changed, and the service was decent. The food left a bit to be desired though. The vinaigrette salad dressing was overpowered by the vinegar. Our friend's crab cake was horrible, we had trouble describing the off flavor. Our other meals were good but not outstanding. The prices, in our opinion, were high compared to the quality of the meal. —DottieHoffmann
