Map referenced as "West Ridge Road", or Route 104, the road runs north of the city center, and is one of the major East-West roads in Monroe County. Many Kodak buildings, including Kodak Park, and other commercial properties, Malls and Shopping Centers, share the road with some residential areas.
Most of the roadway through Monroe County is 4 or more lanes wide. From Lake Avenue east, Route 104 becomes an Expressway as it goes across the Genesee River into Irondequoit and loses the West Ridge Road designation. East Ridge Road begins at St. Paul Boulevard and is not part of Route 104.
