R.A.T.S. stands for Rochester Area Twenty Something's. I think RATS has hit on a good idea in that Rochester is lacking in a post-college age culture, and instead of moaning about it, they are doing something.

The Rochester-Area 20-Somethings (R.A.T.S.) is this community's group for 20- to 29-year-olds looking for social interaction, networking, and community service. We have events and activities that cater to all tastes, and encourage meaningful alternatives to the bar scene.

We support active lifestyles, and we're open to all men and women 20 to 29 years old. We are neither politically nor religiously affiliated, and we do not charge dues or joining fees. We're not just a social group, we're not just a networking group, and we're not just a volunteering group... we're all three at once!

We are committed to building Rochester's 20-something community, and in turn supporting Rochester's growth. Additionally, we will help our community by undertaking the occasional service project.

R.A.T.S. is the group for all 20-somethings wanting to make a difference in and with their lives, and we offer low-committal, fun, inexpensive activities to enjoy together!
