The Rochester City School District (RCSD) serves over 59,000 people from preschool to adult education and is is an important part of Rochester's growth (and/or decline). The school district is organized into three "Zones" as shown at the right.
There has been madness in budgets, random school closings, charter schools, and all sorts of weird stuff.
