Subway Erie Canal Revitalization (SECR) AKA Chill the Fill was a local grassroots organization formed to try to stop Rochester's Historic Subway/Canal from being buried. They were seeking a moratorium, until the community could come to a consensus about how best to recycle the site.

2008-10-10 23:09:59   I'm all for doing something with the Aqueduct. Anything! A restored subway line would be sweet. Look at this [WWW]subway map. Shows the original line and a few others that never happened. —MichaelGovernale
