Sample Soap is a not-for-profit organization that came from the idea of business travelers from Xerox saving their hotel toiletries to give to the needy. The organization has expanded and:

"collects personal care items and distributes them to the neediest citizens of Rochester, New York.


• We collect unopened soaps, shampoos, lotions, sewing kits, diapers, cosmetics - any toiletries.
  

• Toothbrushes and toothpaste are especially needed.
  

Note: These items aren’t covered by food stamps or WIC.
