Sledding at Mendon Ponds Park

• Black Creek Park has one big sledding hill
  

• Cobb's Hill Park has two popular sledding areas: at the top from the reservoir & spelli shelter facing Monroe Avenue and at the bottom by the Tay House and School #1.
  

• Durand-Eastman Park has a few good sledding hills and is very popular, despite the fact that sledding is prohibited.
  

• Ellison Park is rumored to have some good hills
  

• Frisbee Hill Park has a designated sledding hill
  

• Highland Park has a number of decent hills for sledding. This author was injured rather severely when going down the hill near the parking lot on the east side of the park. The most popular run is the hill that borders the amphitheater.
  

• Mendon Ponds Park is pretty much the opposite of the above. Nothing very steep, but nice and large.
  

• Powder Mills Park has some nice hills, nothing very large but nice and steep. Extremely dangerous to do so, but sledding outside of the designated areas can be a blast.
