South Bristol is a small town in Ontario County, about 40 miles south of the City of Rochester. The area was first settled in 1789. South Bristol split off from Bristol in 1838.

The town is best known as the location of Bristol Mountain. Other attractions are [wikipedia]South_Bristol_Grange_Hall_1107 and [wikipedia]Wilder_Cemetery, which are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
